Abstract

This article analyzes the concept of socio-professional and socio-technological competence of teachers exercising their professional teaching career in today's information-educational environment. The professional competence of the teacher is defined as the unity of its technological and social competence. Specificity of the professional competence of the teacher in today's information-educational environment is determined by: global information society and the level of use of ICT in everyday professional and educational activities. Thus, the modern information-educational environment is the factor that determines the specific socio-professional, social and technological competence of the modern teacher.
