Abstract

The article deals with the matters of political development of England of the early Restoration. The place and the role of the Parliament in the system of governance are displayed. The issues of foreign policy development of the country are analyzed. Lord Chancellor Earl of Clarendon is also portrayed as one of the significant people for that period.
