Abstract

Contrary to popular belief about the mass murder of the nobility during the Wars of the Roses, in front of the Tudors was a difficult political task of strengthening royal authority, suppression of numerous outbreaks of separatism and consolidation of the country, which meant, in turn, the inevitable clash with the nobility.
