This article displays the features of the transition from the Late Neolithic to the Early Eneolithic in the steppes of Eastern Europe in 5300-5100 B.C. It dwells upon the role of relations between the populations of the steppe and Balkan, highlights foreign items and innovations bearing the evidence of the contacts above mentioned.
В статье рассматриваются особенности перехода от позднего неолита к раннему энеолиту в степной зоне Восточной Европы около 5300-5100 лет до н.э. Определяется роль западных связей степного населения, показываются импортные вещи и инновации в культуре, свидетельствующие о контактах с населением Балкан.
