The effect of an increase in the filler concentration in the form of the obtained nanoparticles (from 0 to 5%) on the physico-mechanical characteristics of chitosan-based films, as well as their antimicrobial activity against the Gram-positive bacterium Bacillus subtilis, the Gram-negative bacterium Escherichia coli and the mycelial fungus Aspergillus niger, was evaluated. The results showed that the properties of the films depend on the concentration of the nanoscale filler, providing the best indicators of deformation and strength properties, opacity and antibacterial activity with the highest content of nanoparticles. Thus, in the course of the study, chitosan’s capabilities, such as film formation and complexation, were used to demonstrate the potential of producing packaging materials based on it with improved functional properties with minimal resource costs.</p>
Таким образом, в ходе исследования использованы возможности хитозана, такие как пленкообразование и комплексообразование, для демонстрации потенциала получения на его основе упаковочных материалов с улучшенными функциональными свойствами с минимальными ресурсными затратами.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>chitosan</kwd><kwd>dextran sulfate</kwd><kwd>nanoparticles</kwd><kwd>films</kwd><kwd>antimicrobial activity</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>хитозан</kwd><kwd>сульфат декстрана</kwd><kwd>наночастицы</kwd><kwd>пленки</kwd><kwd>антимикробная активность</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="en">The synthesis and investigation of nanoparticles and thin-film materials were carried out with financial support from the Russian Science Foundation (project No. 24-23-20057).
